Any jewellery (ies)/bullion item(s) not exclusively belonging to the seller will not be accepted. If any person acts otherwise, he/she shall be solely responsible for any damage/loss incurred to SriStar Sona Chandi Pvt.Ltd. (“SSCPL”) by such acts.
If necessary, and agreed by the customer, SSCPL shall perform different purity testing methods such as Acid Test, Salt Test or any other prevailing test(s). The customer shall have to provide written consent.
In case SSCPL representative(s) become(s) suspicious about the purity or content of any ornament(s), then the customer requires agreeing to cut and melt (if necessary) the said ornament(s) to check the purity for finalising the purity and weight.
Ornaments once sold to SSCPL by the customer shall not be returned back under any circumstances.
5 The customer requires confirming satisfaction with the final weight of the metal detected by SSCPL after deducting the stone weight and other wastages before finalising the deal.
By signing this T&C, the customer confirms that he/she has seen and is satisfied with SSCPL’s valuation methods and agrees with the Karat readings & valuations done by SSCPL employee(s).
SSCPL declares the Purchase Price based on the Market Price of Gold, which is meant for 24 Karat gold and is subject to change during the day based on market fluctuations. The entire calculation is based on this price only and for Lower purity ornaments, the price shall be calculated based on the exact purity shown by the Karat Checking machine.
SSCPL uses Karat checking machines with XRF technology to ascertain the purity of the ornaments offered by their customers for sale, and the purity reading differs based on the point of checking done and the customer is agreeing that he/she is fully aware of this fact.
In order to establish the credibility and the ownership of the Ornaments, on a case to case basis, SSCPL has to conduct Physical Verification of customer & office, house and (or) Business addresses. If necessary, SSCPL shall also be conducting Telephonic Verification and Reference Check(s). By Signing this Terms & Conditions customer is accepting and giving consent to SSCPL for conducting these types of Verifications.
In the case of releasing the ornaments, exact Market Value of the ornaments shall be determined only after valuing the ornaments physically by the authorised Valuator, hence the final Sale Value may differ from the initial estimated value and the customer is aware of this fact.
During the detailed purity check after SSCPL accepts the sale and making the payment to the customer, if SSCPL comes to know that the average purity of the ornament(s) is/are lesser than that of the initial ascertained purity, then the customer shall be liable to make good the losses incurred by SSCPL on that particular transaction including the margin.
Once the ornament(s) is/are sold to SSCPL the Company has got absolute rights to sell, transfer, assign, and securitize all the rights and titles in this transaction to another individual(s), Company, or Firm or to borrow/take a loan by creating a charge on it.

In case after releasing the ornaments, due to any reason, if the customer is not agreeing to sell the Ornaments to SSCPL then the customer hereby undertakes to reimburse the amount settled by SSCPL to the respective financier along with 5.00% of the Market Value of the Ornaments ascertained by SSCPL as expenses/charges on the very same day, but before the closing of the business hours of SSCPL failing which, the transaction shall be treated as a Sale to SSCPL and SSCPL shall pay the differential amount(if any) to the customer after deducting the Prescribed margin.
In case the sold articles are found to be known as theft/stolen or Spurious article(s) ornaments(s), then the Customer or his/her Legal representative shall be held solely responsible for all the consequences including losses, damages and repayment of the entire amount with interest and (or) compensations to SSCPL.
By Signing this Terms & Conditions, the customer agrees to make good the losses (if any) to SSCPL in case post-release of the ornaments based on the customer & request, if the total marketable value of the ornament(s) is/are lesser than the amount settled by SSCPL due to what so ever may be the reason(s), then the customer undertakes to reimburse the amount settled by SSCPL while releasing the ornaments from the financier along with 3.00% margin on the total market Value of the Ornaments ascertained by SSCPL.
By giving information in the Application Form and in the Offer Letter is not a confirmation or guarantee that SSCPL is accepting the sale offer SSCPL made by the customer. SSCPL reserves the right to accept or reject the Application and offer without assigning any reason.
If required, SSCPL shall be taking Biometric details of the customers and the customer is agreeing to give such biometric details to SSCPL and the same shall be kept as confidential information by SSCPL.
All the disputes arising out of this transaction shall be settled by binding arbitration within the jurisdiction of Bangalore.
